I will be buying a carbon fiber deck!!

Can be fun, but be careful, no brakes!
"Our 8-year old became quite good after only a few days. Use of a good helmet with elbow pads is critical. Beware of cracks in the pavement that will result in a sure spill. We learned the hard way, what was in reality, clearly obvious; on a hill the only way to stop is a controlled collision or jumping off, which is the same as crashing. "You dont have to push, you just move your back foot back and forth and you go forward. Its beter than the waveboard because there is a handle to carry it. And the ends are turned up so that you can do tricks easier. I ride it all day long "
