"I must say for the company I thought that this car seat would of been better. I liked that the head rest moves up and down so you get that "grow with me" feel but, if you have ever sat in there adult seats and you know how comfortable they are well that is not the case here. There is VERY little padding and that is not an understandment either.I sat in it and all you feel is the hard plastic. My son says he does..." Read Full Review
Pros:
"We bought this booster seat for my 3 1/2 year old (she's 41 lbs and 40 inches, she's big for her age.). I wasn't really happy about having to use a booster seat so young, but she out grew her car seat (it was only safety rated to 40 lbs.) Anyways...this seat is great. It does tip over if it doesn't have a child in it. However, we love it and are buying another one for out other car. It's Lite, well ventilated (important here in Okinawa where it gets so hot), the fabric is nice, comfortable. My daughter loves her "Pink Seat" too!! Haven't tried to take the cover off to clean it yet, so I don't know if it's easy to clean."
Pros:
"This booster seat hasn't actually been used yet as my 5 year old rides in a Graco Nautilus with a 5-point harness. He has outgrown most harnessed seats and the few harnessed seats he still fits in are, unfortunately, incompatible with the extended cab pickup truck for a variety of reasons (bench not deep enough for Graco Nautilus; seat back not tall enough for Apex 65; seat belt incompatible with Britax Frontier, etc.). So, for the rare occasions he will ride in dad or grandpa's extended cab pickups, he is going to have to ride in a booster seat. We haven't had the chance for any booster training yet to be sure he understands the importance of sitting properly 100% of the time, but I did put it in the car and test the fit.
I am impressed with the quality of the booster seat. It is much more substantial than others I've looked at and has large headwings for side impact protection. It also positions the belts properly - lap belt nice and low across hips/upper thighs and shoulder belt across the middle of his shoulder/chest. It is well padded and appears that it would be pretty comfortable. Assembly (snapping the back onto the base) was not complicated but did take some serious muscle/weight.
The seat isn't terribly roomy so it probably isn't the best choice for larger kids and it does not convert to a backless booster so you'll likely need to buy another booster seat before your child passes the 5 step test but it's a nice choice for children who have just outgrown their convertible car seats or are on the slender side.
The manufacture date on the seat I bought was almost 2 years old but the price was heavily discounted and it still has 4 years useful life so it was still a worthwhile purchase."

Cons:
"My son outgrew his forward facing car seat so it was time to move on to a booster. I searched long and hard (a good 6 months) for the perfect booster. [...] I chose the vivo simply because of the construction and the side impact protection. I actually purchased the vivo, which has a microfiber cover. That is the only difference between the vivo and vivo lite. The seat cover is very soft and well padded on our vivo. My son loved it and has said it was comfy. He nearly fell asleep in it on our way to the doctor...but I had to get him out right before he dozed off. It was initially a pain to put together but is extremely sturdy and the seat back doesn't wobble like some other high back booster seats out there. I am very happy with my purchase. I think this seat should be worth a couple hundred more than what I paid for it. Highly recommend this seat."

There is VERY little padding and that is not an understandment either.I sat in it and all you feel is the hard plastic. My son says he doesn't like it I think its mostly because he LOVED his old seat. I'm sure that I'll be returning it or giving it to my husband to use in his car being he doesn't ride in there often. I'll go back to Graco or something. Also he misses his cup holder. :) I hope if anyone else gets this seat they like it better then we did. I said I wouldn't recommend it but mostly that is because of the little padding. The cup holder is not a big deal to me just my son but, it would of been nice to have had it."
Pros:
Cons:
"Ordered BRITAX (always love BRITAX) Frontiers as Gift, re-purchased the BRITAX later because of original order issues, Then a RECALL on straps. So we settled on the RECARO & we are pleased for the Value. The Frontier was bulky & hard to install, the VIVO is easy! 5 point harness is best, however these are the next best & durable. Better than the Parkway."
Pros:
"Super safe,
However, it is difficult to buckle for the child especially because of the big solid sides--so if quick and easy is important, think about it. Also, the big wings by the head take some getting used to for children used to having peripheral views--on the flip side they are great for sleeping ;)"
Pros:
Cons:
"Bought this booster for my son (6) & my daughter (almost 3), as am flying solo and wanted something easier to transport than my fabulous, but very heavy & awkward, Britax car seats. They are easy to put together & fit into the car & my kids love them. Wish I had bought them sooner."
Pros:
"Very comfortable and lightweight. The only negative comment is that they are quite bulky so it is difficult to have 3 people sitting in the back row (depending on car) however, they are stylish and the kids were able to catch up on sleep while travelling around."
Pros:
Cons:
"I purchased this carseat because my 2 year old had outgrown his carseat, and I needed to move up to something that was 30+ lbs. This seat is SO easy to install, and it is very lightweight. My son also loves it and feels like a big boy!"
