"My earlier review was luke warm due to my not realizing the spout would stay open is pushed down firmly...leaving me trying to pour water in an awkwark position. I now like it, not as well as the Circulon I referred to in my earlier review, but, almost. The circulon was blue...it had a substantially insulated lid and a lovely low tone "whistle". I bought this tea pot on ...
"I bought this tea pot on sale and right away noticed its tragic flaw; when it gets hot, the gasket melts all over the place. I returned it to Kitchen Aid and they said, It must have been a damaged pot; we'll send you another one. So they sent me another one, which did exactly the same thing.
