"We love it. The long toaster slots of the KitchenAid 4 slice toaster handle any length and width bread, including oval shaped rye breads that do not easily fit in normal toaster slots. The long, thinner housing design doesn't take up as much counter space as normal boxey 4-slice toasters do. Not too many of this type to choose from
"For the size it can handle any tsize of bread slice and the toasting is very consistent. Maybe it is us but we would like to see this item last more than 2-3 years. This is our forth one over the years, but there really isn't anything else out there that meets our needs, space an capacity. "Mother-in-law has a red one, three years old, used almost everyday, works good.
We bought black one, two years ago, use it two to three times a week, works good. Great for long slices of sourdough bread.
Now my mother wants a white one.
Hope for same good luck for her.

"This toaster does have nice features, like the dial setting, and the slots are plenty big enough to fit artisan breads which are often quite wide. "this toaster is so badly made. One slot of the toaster stopped working after the first few weeks, the bottom corner of the toaster broke off and the tray handle broke when I pulled the tray out. Do not buy this toaster. Absolutley the worst toaster you will ever buy. "
