"This product was an indulgence that I waited 2 years to get. I love it. It is gorgeous, streamline, has a forceful flush, fills quickly, and easy to clean. You do have to wait a few seconds after refilling for it to reactivate. My grand kids love it also. Initially, I was concerned with the size of the toilet seat opening. It appeared to be better suited for children than adults. However, my apprehension was misquided. I love the skirted toilet bowl. Actually, I am considering replacing our remaining toilets with a toilet that has a skirted bowl, because of this easy clean feature."

Great design statement, poor performance

"We remodeled a pretty small master bath and wanted a huge shower so we bought the hatbox toilet for its space saving design. OK for that and because I fell in love with it when I saw it....it only flushes every other time and we couldn't use it during hurricane IKE--it really looks great and was a huge splurge. I wouldn't buy it again, I'm still in love with it, but I think I can find a better way to spend [$]. I'd cautiously recommended for its unique design."

The lid breaks / Kohler won't replace

"This toilet is installed in our powder room and gets used maybe once per week. The lid to the toilet has cracked spontaneously four (4) times! You can hear it two rooms away when it does, a very loud POP! and then you have a broken[$]lid."

"First, I cannot believe kohler give a 1-year warranty on this thing. If you have to pay that much, it should be lifetime. I installed one for the customer and some part of it got lose and the whole internal part fell down and leaked water. Kohler sent another for free but after over a year, the touch flush failed. you're likely to buy trouble with this thing. I am a kohler fan but this is an dissapointing product at a hefty price."
