"I loved the look and the fact this was a combo microwave/convection oven...and I'm happy with the way it heats/cooks/defrosts. The only bad thing is the fan is really loud for the first 5-10 seconds. I called and had an appliance service person (per the LG manual) come to my home but he told me there was nothing he could do to reduce the loudness of the microwave's fan. "I received the Microwave with a large dent in the top of it. I thought to myself " No worries, It won't be seen anyway since it will mount under the cabinet." The Microwave has something wrong with it. Anytime the microwave spins the inside carousel, It makes an absolutely gut-wrenching sound. I am Very disappointed with this purchase. [...]..." "Having admired our in-laws convection oven a couple years, I wanted to get one in my own home. Also, I wanted something stylish that would go with our other stainless steel appliances. This LG delivered on both counts. First of all, it is beautiful - the rounded window is big and makes it easy to view your food as it cooks. The microwave cooking/defrosting is pretty standard - no complaints. But I'm blown away by the convection cooking. Roast a whole chicken in 45 minutes using the combination cook (part convection/part microwave), and it comes out crispy outside and tender inside. Cook a baked potato in 10 minutes using the sensor cook - perfect! We have no regrets on this purchase - it's a great addition to our busy kitchen."

"We had a GE Spacemaker and this LG fits perfectly in the spot above the stove. It sticks out a little more (further than the cabinets) but its interior dimensions are way bigger than our old microwave. We don't use it a whole bunch but for the basic heating that I have done it works fine.
No problems at all."

"The microwave of course works great. It was strange cooking with the oven part at first. But when I began to preheat the oven (just like you would with a traditional oven), my food came out just right. Since there is no button for a preheating option, you have to figure out how best to do this on your own.
The combination cooking works really fast, so be careful and keep an eye on your food if using combination cooking."

I'm not sure I would have purchased this model if I had known about the noise issue."
