"I am 5th grade teacher and my students were enthralled with this book. My most reluctant reader actually read the book from cover to cover....the first entire book he ever read! My most avid reader declared it was 'the best book I ever read and believe me, I have read a lot of books.' Many of my students had never even heard of 'The Wizard of Oz' and this book was a wonderful way to introduce them to this magical land. I own 2 copies of the sequel and I can't keep them on the shelf! The second book has graphics that add to the uniqueness of the story. My students can't wait for the third book of the series to become available."
