Great speakers for live sound
"I've used anywhere from 2 to 10 of these at a time for small to medium sized outdoor concerts off a 32 channel A&H board and 24 channel Mackie. They work well as monitors and main speakers. These can take a seriously silly beating and still work fine and hardly show cosmetic damage. They are a bit on the heavy side, but with good quality the weight should not be an issue. Distortion at high volume
"I bought two of these v2's when one of my older (manufacture in Italy)450's stopped working after 7 years. I took them home and compared side by side with my older working srm450. The first V2 speaker I tried was much quieter and lacked the hard hitting punchy mid/low end I was used to from my older 450. It also distorted even at low volumes.
