Great deal with terrific tech support
"Like many people, I first thought that this was too good to be true but since the infomercial allowed me to give it a free trial, I went for it, and boy am I glad I did. This works so well and is such a great deal, I have a difficult time getting my friends to believe me. This product borders on a scam ...
"Unfortunately, this device is not as good as I would have expected. The real problem is that it requires you to have a relatively stable and available computer to work at all, and that can be a challenge to us all. Additionally, there are a lot of unexplained and unneeded DTMF tones ( Touch Pad Tones) that are randomly generated, and disturb the calls. "Overall I'm VERY impressed with this product. Saw the ads, read the reviews, even talked to a friend in Florida that could not get a MagicJack to work right. Decided to buy it and try it out.
The installation was a bit difficult - installer terminated after driver install and actually crashed XP.

"I live in the DC Metro area and bought Magic Jack about 3 weeks ago after my sister in Texas recommended it. She had hers for 2 months then. I was leary when I saw it had minimal written instructions. But that was all I needed. Plug it in.. allow it to download and follow the screen prompts.
