Maytag Portable
"I had a Whirlpool portable for over 20 years and it still worked fine, it was getting ugly and beat up which prompted the purchase of this new Maytag, December 10th, 2008. It took a bit of getting used to, the racks are so different and the silverware holder is in the bottom rack, the Whirlpool had it in the door, which I prefer. Buy a Whirlpool
"We picked up this machine 2/21/08 and ran it while we went out for supper. We assumed it ran fine because by the time we got home it had shut off (3 hours later). The second time we ran it for over 2 hours and it never dumped the water. I had to turn it off to get it to drain.
