Possibly the best jacket of all time.
"I bought this jacket back in the year 2001, and people told me I was crazy to spend so much. Since then I've worn it probably 2-3 times a week EVERY WEEK since then. It's withstood thousands of uses in all but the most frigid conditions over almost seven years! Arcteryx becomes another The North Face
"The Gamma series used to be one of the best softshells jackets around. Until Arcteryx in their crafty acts decided to move production to China (surprise, surprise?). They not only brought the overrall quality of this jacket down but by just looking at it, it just seems another piece of The North Face branded jacket.
