"super comfortable, and plush. Good support. The second time it took them out the heal strap jammed and my foot was stook in the binding, of course it was my rear foot, so it kind of messed with me day. Fortunately Burton sent a replacement strap within two weeks of calling them, but it still killed my season. Overall, great binding, but just hope you have better luck than I did...." "I liked riding these bindings at first, but as I continued by about the 3rd week the whole binding was breaking down and the straps are the most flimsy unsupportive things ever after a month of riding. In my opinion burton doesnt make products to last..." Read Full Review
"I started using P1s back in 2004 and have been upgrading since. Last pair were the P1 Uninc logo splashed wingtips. I have officially decided to upgrade to the new P1.1 in white.
Throughout the last four or five years it is safe to say I have done just about everything you could with these bindings from powder days to park days. I have used Rome, Ride, and a few others. I found that nothing compares to the P1 comfort wise. These bindings have the perfect amount of cushion, flex, and they are durable as hell. In all the years the only thing that has ever happened is the capstrap on the toe had the binding lever fall off due to a loose screw. It was my fault though. Everyone should check screws before they go boarding.
The P1 has been my binding of choice. I have thought about the Cartel, triad, and Co2. If I were ever to walk away from the P1 it would be to try the C60's. Burton bindings are the only bindings I have ever used because they are the ish straight up. I never worry about a thing while I am riding and that is how it should be. The capstrap was my favorite innovation ever. I hate the over the foot straps.
The P1.1 Looks amazing. I am not some Burton only person as the only Burton products I rock are the bindings they make.
The Triad lounge IS the ugliest binding ever made by Burton... see....haha
All in all you can't go wrong with the purchase of the P1. I will be switching my old Wingtips out with the P1.1 and will write another post on how they hold up with no bull included. But the track record for this binding is an A+."
Pros:
"It's never easy dropping a couple hundred bucks for gear but I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. I got these bindings in the black/clear and they have not disappointed. I love the look/ease of use/support/adjustability. I definitely plan on reusing these things once I need a new board!"
Pros:
"I have the Black P1 in Large and they are generally paired on My Rome Design...Pros: Stable and EXTREMELY comfortable, nice straps, Perfect for any condition and ALL riding.Cons: The FLAD(Forward lean) adjustor is is Very difficult to adjust..Most of the other Burton bindings now have the new Quick flad which is much easier to use."
"Since 2004, I have been riding the 04 P1s and now the 08 P1s, and both have been solid performers. They have matched up well with my old burton rulers and now my 32 lashed. They might not be the stiffest binding out there, but I have never felt like I needed more support, and there is still enough flex to let you tweak grabs, etc.One of my biggest gripes with bindings is when the ratchets slip (usually on cold, snowy days) and neither of my sets of P1s has even done that. The straps are super comfortable, and the bindings are still very responsive even when the straps arent really tightened down.Definitely recommended.Only potential issue, not really a biggie, is that the baseplate is only padded on the Burton 3 hole version, not the 4 hole version; so if you dont have a burton board and this is a big deal to you, might be something to consider."
"After six years of riding (on avg - 35 days on the hill per season) I have to say these are the best pair of bindings I've ever owned.
The best word I can describe is cushy. The toe-straps keep your foot dialed in nice and secure without pinching your feet. I never have problems adjusting them and the living-hinge allows just the right amount of give.
Definitely worth the extra dollars!"

"The Speed Zone setup is awesome. Takes a little getting used having used the ankle ratchet like everyone else, BUT, it's a whole lot faster in and out than with "older" bindings. I'll never go back to normal bindings ever."
Pros:
"The binding was very easy to install on a Burton board. It is the matter of 3 bolts versus 4. The Burton boards have a triangle on the optimal position for the bindings. On the mountain, the bindings were responsive and fit my Atomic boots and my Salomon boots easily. There is some gaping on each side of the boots inside the binding, which the snow and ice loved to funnel into. I would need to knock the ice off every couple of times up the lift."
