Callaway's best X series irons to date.

"The X-22 are a real improvement over the X-16, X-18, and X-20 irons (I didn't care for the X-20's very much though). The X-22 head has a huge sweet spot, and is very forgiving on mishits. The stock uniflex shaft feels very good. Overall a mid-high to high launch, and very easy to hit. These irons will probably wind up being close to the best, if not the best, game improvement iron of 2009 year...." Read Full Review »

"I went to the store hoping to strike the 18's because they were on sale. But as luck would have it they were sold out. Not gonna lie, the look of the x 22's made me pick them up. I never had any intention of buying a set so pricey. The salesman cautioned me that once I hit them I would want them, he was right. The irons I had previously were over 10 yrs old, so when I first hit the course with the 22's it was a completely different feel. If you are not used to a heavy club they will feel off to you. But after a few holes, I settled down and was crushing every shot. Even mis-hits went completely straight. I would definately recommend to someone as a set to buy if you are ready to take your game to the next level."

"I am 13 and live on o golf course. I play just about every day and had really old irons before I got these for Christmas. They are very forgiving and are very easy to hit. With my old irons i could barely spin the ball at all but now im spinning my PW back at least 10 ft. Bottom Line: These are great clubs."

"Let me start off by saying I have NEVER written a review for any product EVER. At 29 years of age, I started playing golf when I was 26 in order to spend more time with my father. I was never into golf, but it was a way for us to hang out on a weekend afternoon. I started with a set of Top Flite's, which were okay for a true beginner. After a couple years I bought a Callaway X Driver, and fell in love with Callaway right there. I bought the X 22's a few days ago, and just came back from my first round. I must say the difference is substantial. Even some of the shots I topped or plain mishit were still decent. I had no slice, and lost only one ball the whole round ( a minor miracle for me ). I'm still not perfect but I believe that with some practice, and improving my stance a bit, these clubs will help me drop my handicap quite a bit. If you want to bring your game to the next level I HIGHLY recommend these bad boys."

"Callaway hit this one right in the middle of the fairway, I am upgrading from the X-12's. I am really looking forward to getting on the course. You will be sold on the first swing."
