Responsive

"On technical trail it's really important to have a responsive shoe (unless you enjoy face plants on jagged rocks). Besides helping to keep you off your face, a stiffer, lower profile shoe like the Fireblade, helps you run more efficiently, as you spend less time wobbling back and forth with a wide-legged gait. The minimalist tread seems to give enough traction and helps to really feel the trail, since it doesn'..." Read Full Review »

Seriously

"This is not the shoe for me.As someone who followed SpeedGoats AT trek I was really stoked to try these shoes. Especially when this past June in Utah was a muddy, wet mess. (Not unlike what Karl encountered along the northern AT)In any event, I first wore them on a run from Elbow Fork to Lambs with packed damp trail and snow crossings. The snow crossings were like wearing flip flops, bad news.On my second run in..." Read Full Review »

"I've been running in Fireblade now for a year, and no other shoe compares to the sleek low profile. The shoes just seem fast! After recently completing the entire Appalachian trail in 54+ days, I would never go back to another shoe. The stiff plate underneath the forefoot kept the rocks from poking …"  Read Full Review »

"I wore these on a 47-mile Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim run across the Grand Canyon. I love these shoes, and they're currently the only thing I'll run with. I didn't have any blisters or anything after my run.

"I've had my La Sportiva's for a couple months now, and am highly satisfied. I run unstable/rocky trails and gravel roads almost daily; these have been a blessing on my feet for cushioning and great arch support (I have med/hi arches). I am a little concerned that La Sportiva has sacrificed durabil …"  Read Full Review »
