Panasonic also delivers the sharpest blades with even more precision through Nano-technology, used to polish the industry's sharpest 30 blades to achieve an even better cutting performance. The Patented linear motor spins at 13,000 revolutions per minute, giving the Vortex the power to cut through even the toughest beards for a frictionless shave. Like all Panasonic shavers this unit has wet/dry technology, so it is fully immersible under water. This razor can be used with lather in the convenience of your shower, or on the go for a quick trim. When shaving is finished, simply rinse under running water. Instead of alcohol, this system uses a water/detergent infused cleansing process for safe, effective removal of all stubble and debris from the blades. Also, for a quick and easy way to clean the razor, the Vortex offers a Turbo Cleaning Mode. Press and hold the on/off button to shift from 13,000 RPMs to an impressive 17,000 RPMs to clear out hair, dust, and other debris when placed under water. A Pop up trimmer is accessible with the push of a finger for grooming moustaches and sideburns. The LCD Battery Monitor indicates how much charge is available at all times. I had an older Braun Razor that was an earlier "Pulsonic" series but the foil over the cutter block always ended up getting a hole in it resulting in my face bleeding with one damaged hole in the foil.
