"was on vacation when i lost part of a shaving head on a higher model. i like a very close shave, so after i use my electric razor i would use an old fashion to clean things up --- no need with the 8240. no need for my face to adapt since it was use to a norelco rotary already. only fault i found was that the pauch was not large enough to also handle the recharger...." "I recieved this item for christmas. Previously I had been using a Fusion blade style razor. This was my first venture into electric shavers, and all I can say is OUCH! First of all you can only shave with a dry face. Secondly the shape of the blades causes you to have to revisit the areas of your face and neck where the hair does not grow uniformy over and over and over again.
