Philips Razor, Corded, 6940, 1 razor

"I tried to like this norelco, I really did. It was inexpensive and seemed like it would be relatively trouble-free.



It has several fatal flaws, however.



Despite giving it the time necessary for my face to become accustomed to it as a new razor, it still caused significant skin irritation.



The low rpms made for a slow shaving experience and required multiple, multiple passes to achieve a mediocre shave.



That extra time made the fact that it's corded only become a factor because I was tethered to the wall outlet.



So I took an old Panasonic linear shaver (high speed) out of my "boneyard" of electronics and despite the dull ness of the blade, it gave a better shave than this did new. That's just the way it is.



So buy something else or get this to keep around in the trunk of your car for emergencies. Just don't expect a regular, good shave from it."

Overall, it's a good razor, but not a great one. It's still a good purchase considering the price. If you want a decent razor but don't want to spend a hundred dollars then I'd recomend this one."
