Pros:
"I have the previous year's Foils, and they perform really well. Obviously, they're not racing boots so the response was not there. However, if you do 50/50 park and all-mountain, and like to just have fun rather than go aggro on your runs, these will do nicely.
I personally like Salomon boots because of their fit, and the Foils were no exception. They were rather comfy, even in sub-zero temps. In fact, they were more comfortable than my snowboard boots (also Salomons). I thought I would need to change the liners, but they actually proved to be quite good and ended up putting in a pair of old Superfeet footbeds instead. (BTW, I suggest doing this with any boot because what most companies give you is laughable...instant big difference.)"

"These are great All mountain/Park boots. Flexible enough to be forgiving but great support. I immediately put Superfeet liners in all my ski boots and these work great with them. Why all ski boots come with cheap chinese felt liners is a mystery to me.
They are warm but below 20 degrees the toe box could use a little more insulation.
I like the fit because I have fairly wide feet and large calf muscles. These do not cut or bind at the calf which is a problem I experience with most boots. The flexible sole plate in these boots is great for softening a big landing on hardpack or ice. Great boots and a very good bargain. Excellent adjustability."
