"Just back from Colorado and my first trip with my new Zephyr. Took a few days to get used to it after my worn out Rome Anthem and it was so worth it. This is a serious piece of kit, you have to ride it hard or it will ride you but it rewards commitment and aggression in spades!

Rode spring bumps, crud strewn steeps, ice and powder trees and it handled it all - I grew to love it more and more each run. The nose is quite soft for great powder pickup and the tail really stiff and its definitely fast and stable - I got a 170 medium as I am 6'4", 220lbs and have size 12s and it is perfect for me, no more undersized mass production boards thanks.

Great company, amazing board, I am sold. Not for the faint hearted though, definitely not a beginner's board! Looks cool too with tough construction - I kind of got it for a backcountry board but why would I ever ride anything else, regardless of conditions?

Can you tell I like it? Now to save up for the Divide splitboard..."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"Simply amazing. Nothing else rides like this. So smooth at speed you be riding faster than ever before, yet so quick to turn when you want it to. Trees to waist deep powder to chopped up garbage to hardpack groomers to butt puckering 40 degree backcountry ice - this thing can do it all and make it look easy...as long as you're aggressive! Not for the weak, you need to be tearing apart the mountain to really enjoy this board.

It might not work well if all you do is ride park..you need to muscle this thing to butter it but that isn't what it's made for.

I'm 6' 185# and the 161 M (sz 11 boot) is perfect for me. Turns on a dime yet still floats in the der.

Might be a bit heavier than other boards out there, but I don't notice it...and I sure won't be breaking this any time soon.

The first time you see one of these in person you'll know it's a cut above everything else out there."

"This board reads your mind. It takes little effort to initiate turns. It can handle anything from east coast ice to steep and deep powder, it also does really well in the park if you like to go big. It comes in may lengths and more importantly 3 withs. I have a very small foot. The narrow waist allows me more agility than other brands that do not take foot size into consideration. Those of you that have a large shoe size can try out the medium or wide models to achieve zero toe drag. I've been riding for 22 years and riding Venture boards for the last 9. I will never buy any other brand again."
