Microbeam Rechargeable Auto Light

"Bought this item for my husband last year for Christmas. It turned out to be the best gift. We take it every where and has seen a great deal of use. It has a very bright light small and handy. This is a perfect gift for any handy man!!



I have a new Toyota SUV and it plugs in my vehicle to charge with no issues."

While plugged in, the light has a soft, red glow to show it is charging.



The light will only charge in a receptacle that takes a cigarette lighter. Most new cars have only one power outlet like this -- the rest are larger around for DVD's, radar detectors, etc."

"This item needs an adapter for new vehicles. My mini van is only 2 yrs old and doesn't have any cigarette lighters only power sources. The flashlight doesn't fit."

"I was happy to recieve this light for Christmas but was quickly dissapointed when I tried to charge it into the power port in my Chevy Tahoe. It does not fit...too small. I would love to have one that fits my power ports. I hope Brookstone gets to work on it soon."

"Great little flashlight with strong beam. Only caveat is already mentioned in other comments. It might not fit newer 12V sockets which are slightly different then the old cigarette lighter. One thing I personally like about it is the ability to hold it in my teeth and point it keeping both hands free to work in a confined space. Small but bright enough to work by."
