Set up faster and lighter, and further reduce weight with the Hubba Hubba HP tent from MSR, an even lighter version of the popular Hubba Hubba model. At 4 pounds and sporting a unique, single-pole construction, it's easy to set up and take down with the all-in-1 hub-and-swivel pole system that gives it strength and durability.

  • Get maximum interior space from the unique, single-pole configuration that utilizes the all-in-one hub-and-swivel pole design for easy setup
  • Unlike the mesh of the Hubba Hubba version, the HP model uses solid fabric to further protect against rain, sleet and snow; vents in the fly and loft don't let you lose out on breathability
  • Protect your tent from the elements and the rigors of you adventures as the floor and fly are coated with silicon and polyurethane for resistance to weather and UV rays; waterproof zips keep moisture out
  • Keep your gear safe and dry within the 2 vestibules; the taped seams and welded reinforcements of the vestibules and tent interior offer superior protection
  • If the rain is falling the dry-entry design helps move water away from the tent; even if you have the doors open for ventilation, water won't drip in
  • Ensure support, even in nasty weather, as the all-in-one pole system maintains strength and reflective guy cords offer stability; ultralight needle stakes are virtually unbendable
  • When you need extra protection, set it up as a double-wall tent, or in one of 2 freestanding tarp-shelter modes with the optional footprint (not included)
  • Capacity / suggested use: 2 person / 3-season
    • Trail weight: 4 lb 4 oz
      • Floor area / vestibule area: 29 sq ft / 17.5 sq ft

excellent lightweight tent

"I have waited three years to write this review, using the tent in a wide variety of conditions. I have used it in: Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, California, Colorado and it has performed amazingly. My tent has seen downpours, windstorms, unexpected snowstorms and held up through them all. The only problem I have had was a broken pole (it snagged the back of my jacket and broke on my way in). ..." Read Full Review »

Good Spring/Fall tent.

"Tent is great for Spring and Fall. The regular Hubba Hubba is better for summer because its all mesh on top. In the winter this tent has problems because the many vents (mesh windows) can not be closed, this means that strong winds can blow snow drift from under the tarp and into the tent. For winter, the best light tent is the Mountain Hardwear Spire 2. The spire is fully closed and has a much higher ceiling,..." Read Full Review »

"I use this tent as a solo. I am 6'4" and 220. Would be big enough for me and another small person. I used this tent for the first time on a 3 day in the Alaskan bush. It put up with heavy thunderstorms, and some gusty wind. After the rain there was no condensation on the inside of the tent despite t …"  Read Full Review »

"This tent is awesome. We had the Hubba Hubba and upgraded to the HP. The main difference that we like is that MSR had put in more of the rip-stop material in inplace of the mesh. The advantages of this are huge. The tent was warmer at night, it keeps more sand out, and you are able the run it wit …"  Read Full Review »
