One of the best tents I've ever owned

"I bought this tent in early 2007 and have used it on every 3 season excursion since then. I teach outdoor recreation classes for a university and have a need to be able to carry a lightweight solo tent. I have never been interested in bivy sacks mostly due to the condensation issues associated with them. At 3 lbs the hubba is an excellent choice for a well outfitted shelter. The hubba is lightweight and ver..." Read Full Review »

Suprisingly roomy, but questionably dry.

"I spent a two night backpacking trip in this tent in a wild and wonderful little corner of West Virginia this past weekend. I chose to try the Hubba because my knees don't like me anymore, and I am cutting down weight where I can. It suprisingly fit me well (6'3" 200 pounds - although the width is tight, but I knew that going in.) The engineering is sound, it's a sturdy little three season tent, and a joy to ..." "I've had many many tents over the years and this is the best of them. As I get older I'm trying to lighten up so I bought the MSR Hubba. I was concerened it would be cramped but I've found I like the way the narrow floor helps to keep my sleeping gear where it should be. No more pillow sliding out f …"  Read Full Review »

"Beats any tarp/bivy combo I've tried, and is a superior tent to any of the other light or ultralight solo tents I've tried (and I've tried a lot of them.) All-mesh inner tent, without the fly, is a delight on hot, muggy August nights. Pitching it is pure simplicity - in the rain, the clip system mak …"  Read Full Review »

"I've used this tent on several trips already and it's kept me safe from the elements. So far it's endured light rain and relatively strong winds with no signs of failure. I'm just under 6 feet tall and weigh about 230 lbs and this tent fits me perfectly. I even have several inches above my head and …"  Read Full Review »

"I bought this tent in 2008 and used it on 3 multi-day trips. I almost always camp above 10,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies. The tent held up in severe downpours. It’s easy to set up, it breathes well with the fly on and is not cramped. Over the last 30 years I have owned about 5 different tents …"  Read Full Review »
