The MSR Hubba Hubba Fast and Light backpacking tent is one of Editor's Choice award winning tents.  This is MSR's best selling 2 person, freestanding tent and there are tons of reasons why.  This is a featherweight tent that only weighs 4 lbs and offers maximum space with roomy interior, large vestibules and full featured detailing that usually only comes with bigger, heavier tents.

MSR made the Hubba Hubba to be incredibly versatile with 3 different set up options, 2 doors and vestibules, and 2 stay dry entrances that keep even the inside dry with the vestibules open.

Use this 2 person tent as a double wall tent for full protection (with fly on), or in 2 different styles of freestanding tarp/shelter modes in conjunction with the optional footprint.  A new all-in-one hub and swivel pole design is super strong and really easy to set up.  Giving you the ultimate in ultra-lightweight, roomy, durable living space while you explore the backcountry.

  • Spacious: Unique pole configuration provides maximum interior space.
  • Quick and Easy Setup: All-in-one hub and swivel pole design is simple to use.
  • Versatile: Can be used as a double-wall tent for full protection or in 2 freestanding tarp-shelter modes with footprint (sold separately).
  • Livable: Both vestibules provide dry entry, gear storage, and covered food-prep areas.
  • No-Drip Entries: Flies/doors won’t drip inside tent, so doors can be opened for additional venting options in light weather.

Great in the heat & cold

"So much has been written about the Hubba Hubba and its ease of setup, spacious footprint and head room, relatively light weight and sturdy construction that I'll assume you already know this is a great tent and a great value. I wholeheartedly agree with all the glowing things I've read here and in reviews on the web and in the popular backpacking magazines. What most don't tell you is how flexible this tent is..." love... hate relationship

"I love the ease of set-up. I have had this tent in gusts up to 37 mph(Brunton Wind Gauge), downpours that were so heavy that the roar of the drops on the fly woke me from sleep. I am impressed with the strenth and dryness of this tent under those conditions. On still nights the mesh walled tent is a joy to be in... That's the good... The bad... During heavy winds, sand comes through freely. On a recent padd..." Read Full Review »

"If you are going on a backpacking trip, this is the only way to go. MSR makes quality gear, and this tent is no exception. On a 20 day trip this tent could not have performed better. One advantage of this tent over others in my group is that it came with 8 of its own lightweight titanium stakes - o …"  Read Full Review »
