"In my novice opinion, the Nikon 10x25 Travelite V binoculars are of good quality, are lightweight, and are reasonably compact. However, for other novices out there, keep in mind they (and all 10x25 optics) have a relatively narrow field of view, limited light gathering ability, and a tiny exit pupil. These are characteristics of the size, and not the make/model. I wanted a small, easily packable pair for use ..." Read Full Review
Pros:
"Terrific light weight unit that works very well especially for those with a small or narrow face"
Pros:
"Small size - big performance. Comfortable, ergonomic design with soft feel that fits my hands. Great optics and easy focus make this the perfect sport binoc!"

I wanted a small, easily packable pair for use while camping/hiking and for sporting events. Due to the issues above, I decided to trade up to a larger pair (8x42 Trailblazer ATB). For my purposes, the trade off in size and weight was worth it for the larger, brighter, easier to pick up image you get with a larger binocular. I will still probably pick up a pair of 25mm binoculars for backpacking, but they will be 8x (more stable image, better field of view and exit pupil) and roof prism (more compact) - probably Nikon 8x25 Trailblazer ATBs actually. I liked Nikon's quality for the price point, but this particular model was not for me. I would recommend them to a friend if they were sure a 10x25 was what they wanted."
Pros:
"Small enough to keep in the glovebox, but useful enough to carry hunting. An excellent combination of size, weight and utility. Not so the gift certificate I used. This purchase process left[$] on the gift certificate and added that amount to my credit card."
Pros:
"my wife & i are avid hikers - this unit is light & compact but most importantly when use it it brings whatever animal we are looking at right in front of our face. A must for all nature lovers!"
Pros:
"You get more than you pay for with this bino. Very clear,Good light transmision, for a compact bino. You will have to spend over $500 to get a better quality 10-25 bino."
Pros:
"I bought this for my brother as a gift. He loves them - perfect to carry in the woods hunting, nice an lite, sharp image - highly recommeded."
Pros:
"Although a bit smaller than I imagined, these are great binoculars. The feel well built and could probably even take a few drops. The magnification is crisp and clear (as you would expect), but the close focus isn't there (I didn't buy these for that, you may try the 8x25 for that). The case they come in is nice too. I would recommend these to anybody in the market for a pair of compact Binoculars."
Pros:
"i use them when i travel to places , they provide sharp images and are easy to use . The 10 times magnification is great. But unfortunately it is not water proofed. When it rains when i am using these at outdoors , they get wet and i am afraid the water might enter my bino and cause damage .If it is water proofed it would be the perfect binoculars ."
