"Having used Olympus SLR's for almost 30 years, I have a few lenses from that system. This allows me to add these to my digital system. I've used it with 50mm 1,4, 50mm 3.5 macro, and 300mm 4.5 mainly. But there are other lenses available on the used market to expand your options. I've been able to add my E1 to my T-mount telescope for some great moon shots...." Read Full Review »

"This adaptor extended my 500mm mirror lens to where it cannot focus at all in all planes. Either vertical lines focused or horizontal lines focused, but never did they both focus at the same time - save your money for new 4/3 lenses instead...." Read Full Review »

"With this adapter, I'm able to use three OM lenses that were given to me by a co worker. The adapter fits quite snugly on my E500. The three lenses all work great, taking into account the limitations of the auto focus and metering. Worth the price if you have old OM lenses."

"I am an old OM 1 and OM4 film camera user in my past. Now I shoot digital but have a bunch of really sharp Olympus Zuiko lenses that now work on my digital body but only in the manual mode, meaning you need to also focus manually. That would be fine if my eyes hadn't of aged worse than the rest of me! Olympus tells me they do not make a split screen focus for digital cameras yet (which is what my film cameras had), so I find my images to be just off a tad for my liking. Olympus said I could purchase a different diopter I believe was the word, which would fine tune the focus a few more notches. I don't think that would help if your eyesight is off and I shoot without my glasses. The concept is great but it's lacking for me unfortunately:~("

"Zuiko film lenses are wonderful, and if you have any and want to use them with your E-series camera, then this is the least expensive way to continue to use your film investment. I've used it with the E-300 and the E-3, and it allows, with certain limitations, to use non-digital lenses."

"The OM adapter has brought my old favorite OM lenses to life again. This great tool allows my old 24mm, 50mm and 135mm to fit snugly on my digital SLR (E-500). The adapter is superbly made and easy to put on and take off my digital SLR.
I am enjoying the challenge and the experience of again manually adjusting my settings and focusing on my subject. It is a different experience then taking pictures with a digital lens. The old lenses give your photos a different quality and make the experience of shooting different as well. It is a tool I would recommend to anyone who has lenses from their OM days stashed away or anyone who would just like to experience the control and quality you can get with these old "relics""
