"I appreciate the sale price for this toaster but the main reason I bought it is because of the name Oster. And, true to form, it is a great product. It toasts very well and I appreicate the crumb tray right in front for easy removal and cleaning. We also like the way we can lift the toast up out of the openings for easy removal of small pieces. Not good
"I purchased the Oster 2-Slice Toaster because it's attractive, seemed to be solidly built with good features, and at the time on sale. My unit, however, had one toasting setting - burnt. It didn't matter if I set the toaster to light or dark; everything it spit out was burnt. I tried it for several weeks hoping the toaster would improve. "replaced old toaster with this model when we remodeled our kitchen. what an amazing little appliance! Matches perfectly with our Stainless appliances and tho not fancy, does everything needed to make toast, bagels, etc.

it WAS a good toaster till it broke.
"I've had it about 18 months now. One side of one the slots no longer heats at all. You only get a 1 year warranty. Sounds a little shady. $30 is expensive to pay for a toaster with a 1 year life span.
