Best darn gloves for biking on cold days
"I'm an old guy. I'm very active, biking two or three days a week. I love these gloves because, as you age, your circulation isn't what it used to be. So I get colder faster. I do get stares by young Lance Armstrong wannabees zooming past me at 25mph+ on the biketrail marked 15mph max. Adequate for warmer blooded activities
"Although adequate at blocking wind, these gloves are not good for staying warm in the backcountry or on the bike when there's any wind unless you're very warm-natured. They are good for around home and town during cold, rainy days. Comfortable, yet slightly stiff and tight for the sizing, so buy large enough for good circulation and flex. "Used on Mt Rainier. Good insulation and grip. Still cannot operate camera controls with this glove, but I can't do that with anything more than the lightest liner. This could be used standalone or as a fairly heavy liner glove. "
