"Having been a lifelong Rowenta user, I saw this iron while browsing online for another Rowenta. The cordless aspect intrigued me and with a baby on the way, I was concerned about my (future) toddler grabbing at a dangling cord. The other reviewer(s) were right: the iron heats up super-fast and my ironing load goes by fast without the cord getting all tangled up in my tablecloths! This iron works great! However, one definitely MUST FOLLOW the directions to a T! WHen resting the iron, you cannot prop it up on the table, but MUST place it back in its base or the iron loses heat. Every time it's placed back on the base, the heating aspect is re-charged. If you read and follow directions, this iron is a breeze! I will never buy another iron unless it's cordless. Also, it comes with a handy carrying case that snaps onto the base and has a handle on top for easy transportation. I just love this thing!"
