"I have very fine hair, I use this for styling (on damp hair while blow drying) but I do "finish" with an aerosol-type hairspray because these "pump" style products fall to heavily on my baby fine hair. It's also great for "plastering" more "severe" updos, chignons, etc where once you have "every hair in place" you don't want to bother with it again until you take it down. "Yuck. Smells like an overly-sweet watermelon, which is NOT good if you work in a health-care environment. Very firm hold; nothing natural about it. Felt goopy and sticky as soon as I sprayed it on.
