"This is a great boat. I bought one two years ago, and have used it in ponds, lakes, and the Ohio river. It is very stable even with two people. When fishing by myself I can stand up and walk from one end to the other without any problems. I run a 42 lb trolling motor on the bow and a 7.5 hp outboard on the transom. Very light also, loads easily into my pickup...." Read Full Review »

"It's hard to get all the gear I need in the boat- net, paddle, battery, trolling motor, tackle box, and 4 rods. You just need to keep that in mind if you want to do any serious fishing. Other than that it does what you think it will. It will get you around the pond or lake. It's difficult to control in the wind and fish at the same time, but aren't they all?..." Read Full Review »

"I HAVE OWNED ONE OF THESE BOATS NOW FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS, AND I CANT WAIT TO TAKE IT BACK ON THE LAKE OR PONDS THAT I FISH! I USUALLY LAUNCH MY BOAT INSTEAD OF CARRYING IT TO THE WATER (AS I HAVE HAD BACK SURGERIES) OR I'LL HAVE SOME OTHER PEOPLE HELP ME TAKE IT DOWN TO THE WATER, I LOVE THE SEATS AS I CAN FISH MOST OF THE DAY WITHOUT MY LEGS GETTING CRAMPED LIKE IN MY JON-BOAT! I RUN A MINN-KOTA 40LB. THRUST ON IT AND IT MOVES IT RATHER NICELY. BUILDING A TRAILER FOR THIS IS NOT DIFFICULT, SO IF YOU'VE EXPERIENCED ANY BACK/LEG PROBLEMS SAVE YOURSELF AND BUILD ONE, ALTHOUGH THE BOATS AREN'T HEAVY THEY ARE A BIT AWKWARD!"

"I purchased a 2007 Bass Raider 10e. I wanted something slightly more comfortable than a canoe that I could stand in but was still portable and simple to maintain. The Bass Raider just about nails is on the head. Two able-bodied guys can stand and cast in the bass raider without the balancing act of a canoe, no it isn't like a 24 foot pontoon, but if youv'e tried standing and fishing in a canoe, this will be a world of difference. I also bought a 2.5hp motor, works great, no speed boat, but for the small lakes and rivers I fish, it is awesome. With two guys I lift this boat onto my Toyota Camry Wagon and throw the motor in the trunk. It is a little to heavy for my wife to help me load. Someday I may buy a cheap small trailer from harbor frieght, because I can drag up onto my 8x8 trailer alone but that is a little overkill. You may end up needing a smaller tackle box as room is severly limited, and you won't bring too much gear. But think back to when we were kids we only had one pole and a small box of lures and we could fish all day! Meets all my expectations and can't wait to use it more."
