Decent swivel mount for the $$$$
"After reading the review for the cheaper photoflex swivel mount. I decided to try this one. This is my first swivel mount I ever bought so I can't compare it to any others. I'm very pleased with it for the price. I was looking at some higher priced one's but decided to get this one since I also recently bought photoflex light stands & umbrellas.I used my Nikon SB - 800 speedflash on this mount. Good solid mount
"Well-built solid mount, and easy to use adjustment screws. All works very well. The only problem I had was that the angle of the umbrella mount didn't work too well with my particular flash. Landed up meaning that the flash was aimed at the top half of the umbrella. I switched to the Bogen version which was aligned a lot better for my purposes...." Read Full Review »

"After two years of having the life beaten out of it, I thought I'd comment on this piece of equipment.
If you need a swivel, buy this. Done. End of discussion. This swivel is made out of metal, making it extremely durable. The benefit of to this is that you can put a huge umbrella on this puppy.

"I bought this to mount a SB-800. It's short enough not to offset the flash from the umbrella center. I has an extra long lever which gives lots of leverage to tighten the mounted umbrella very fast.
