"I always go to Physicians Formula when I need a great cheap fix! After looking through pages of shimmer and bronzes, I decided to get this. I've used it before and loved it, so I decided to try Vegas Strip this time for a lighter shimmer, and I love it! For the price you can't beat Physicians Formula!"

"Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer, Blush & Eye Shadow is made in Italy, and the high-end feel of this product shows in every respect. It is packed solidly in a heavy-duty clear acrylic case and the formula itself doesn't crack, flake or produce a powdery dust.



The only flaw is that the compact doesn't come with an applicator or even a place to store one. I managed to fit a small eye shadow applicator under the lid, at which point I noticed that even though it is lying across the top of the pallet the color doesn't break up or transfer to the applicator just by virtue of sitting there. This observation may be useful because from what I understand, a lot of people have trouble traveling by air with these types of cosmetics because they too often arrive to their destination broken. This formula appears to be poured into the case itself instead of separate molds. I can knock it around and it still looks like the day I bought it.



This product is a multipurpose cosmetic, but because I do not wear a bronzer I only use it to highlight my eyelids ("Vegas Strip" color pallet). The color selection makes it very easy to create a healthy glow that doesn't look chalky like some other shadows. (And contrary to the glitzy name, I would be more apt to describe "Vegas Strip" as "Indian Summer", a sort of late summer/early fall selection of colors.) Notably, this formula doesn't have big chunks of glitter, but imparts a tasteful shimmer instead. It is an amazing product, above all, for its staying power. It doesn't work its way into creases, which is the main reason why I avoid 99 percent of the eye shadows on the market. This is one of the few that doesn't creep. Given that my eyelids are inset and not all that exposed, that's saying something. Typically I skip eyeshadow entirely because the color applied to the eyelid transfers to the skin beneath the brow too easily. That problem is minimal with this product.



Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Bronzer Blush & Eye Shadow feels like a department store product at drugstore prices. It is an excellent value! I hope the product is never discontinued."

"I have tried to use this product for quite a long time now and I have found that the product is WAY TOO shimmery. You barely put any of the stuff on and people still ask why my face is so sparkly under lights(I felt like a Cullen). As if the glitter wasn't bad enough, the stuff rubs of EXTRAORDINARILY easy! It is super frustrating to talk on a phone and have the screen be covered in your make up! Over all this product could only ever be used as a highlight and even then it would have to be used carefully because it makes the skin super shiny making it look oily. I will not be purchasing this product every again."

"I really love this product. I use each individual strip as an eyeshadow. I personally like the natural look- with nothing cakey or fake-looking. This shadow gives me just that extra shimmer that looks gorgeous. The best part is having more than one color to choose from. You also have the added bonus of being able to blend colors to make your own shade. I LOVE IT! its also good to know that this stuff won't clog your pores or irritate your skin. it stays on all day and washes off easily with water. i recommend it."

"This is my favorite shimmery bronzer. I love how the mix of colors blend to create a subtle sunkissed look. This is great for cheeks as a blush, an all-over bronzed look, and I love it as the base color for a neutral eye. I do wish it was a tad less shimmery--while one sweep looks perfect, you can't go for a really bronzed look with this product without going into shimmer overload. Otherwise, it's an excellent, affordable bronzer that works for nearly all skintones."

"I bought this product to use as a bronzer and used it quite a bit for the summer, enough that I hit the pan. Then over the fall and winter I started using it on my eyes. Riviera Strip is perfect for this because the lightest shade is a subtly shimmery white which is perfect for my highlight. I can't even tell you how many compliments I get on this for everyday. It is the perfect amount of shimmer for everyday wear without being too "glittery" and the color is very buildable. Love it and will for sure repurchase!"

"First off, I really love this produce, but am very frustrated with the packaging. I find the plastic container very difficult to open and have ruined many a nail trying. Sometimes, I have even asked my husband to open the case. I have recommended this product to friends who compliment my look and they have also complained about the difficulty in opening. For me, part of the pleasure of a good product is the ease of opening and the beauty of the the container. Call in the packaging experts and you will truly have a winner!"

"I really liked this product. I use it as an eyeshadow, but you can also use it for your face which is cool. One thing with it is that the strips are very tiny, and its hard to get the makeup because its all in one square together. And there isn't a brush to go with it, so you'll have to find your own brush which could sometimes get irritating, and the strips are thin so they could run out quickly. But I still loved it, and the multiple color thing is great because if you don't like one color, you have several others to pick from, and you will definitely like at LEAST one! The price is sort of expensive, but if you end up loving it, the price wouldn't even matter!!"

"Love this bronzer, one of my all time favorites. I have used many expensive bronzers from department stores but they always made me break out. This one not only is great for your skin but is a great color. Love how it gives you that glow. Great for winter when you need a little extra color. Cant beat the price"

"I love the lighter strips in this compact but I am on the fair side and the brown can be a little too dark and shimmery for my skin. Should be perfect in the summer though! The shades all are pretty as an eye shadow (alone or layered) and I like the lightest shade as a highlighter for my forehead and cheek bones."
