"It seemed like it might be a little small for me, but I am going to be sending one of these bags to my sis and her family for Christmas. They have 3 kids so they would only need to fit 5 lunch containers in the cooler part. What I liked about this bag is that the insulated part is on the bottom and it has a nice open mesh part for the top. I liked that it seemed smaller and more compact than our big backpack so ..." "This is the backpack that I was looking for to carry snacks & drinks for the family when we went to the playground, etc. I bought the pack about 3 mths ago, but didn't have to really use it until the kids went on summer holidays. I didn't want to write a review until I had time to really use it. I think it's a pretty functional backpack & like the idea of having a "cooler" section & dry section. Unfortunately, t..." Pros:
"This is the best cooler I have ever Used. I take it out with my Clients to show homes. Load up the Blue Ice and Go. After several Hours of Cold Drinks and the Day is done. I clean it out, Fold it up and Look forward to Next time. Great Product."

I think it's a pretty functional backpack & like the idea of having a "cooler" section & dry section. Unfortunately, the 2nd time I used the pack, the tortilla chip bag I had in the top section must of poked a hole in the meshing. How disappointing as I didn't think the mesh was that fragile. I'll have to either glue or sew the mesh back together & hope it'll hold. Other than that, I think it's a very good bag. I don't know if I would recommend it based on the mesh. Doesn't seem like anyone else has that problem. So if you want the pack, you take your chances. I may have just got a lemon."

Cons:
"I used the Picnic Backpack one day when we took our son to the pack for a picnic lunch. I was very pleased at the holding capacity. It held everything I packed and still had room left. I had no worries of it being overfull, food getting smashed, etc. I love that the bottom storage compartment was insulated and nicely held everything that I wanted to stay cold along with an ice pack. I know that I will have many more pleasant picnics using this back pack."
Pros:
"I was looking for a combo pack that was easy to carry & combined a cooler section & area for other things. This fit the bill! The cooler section really does the job & I like the spacious upper mesh section. I've only used the bag a few times since I got it, but know it will be my go to bag when summer kicks in so I can't really comment on durability. I'm hoping it will last a few years just from normal use. I'm a mother of a 5 & 7 y.o. & carting around snacks & drinks is essential!"
Pros:
"I especially like using this bag to carry my lunch plus my other items with me when riding my motorcycle to work. It has plenty of compartments for my small items and valuables. Plus the yellow color has great visibility and makes sure that motorists behind me don't overlook the fact that there is a smaller vehicle ahead."
Pros:
"We use this backpack for all picnics, hiking and non, because of it's ease of carry and comfort. Nice padded straps and a large capacity are plusses too, and even a choice of color!"
Pros:
"We use this product for the beach or hiking. Now everything fits into one bag instead of two."
Pros:
"Bought this to take with us when we travel. Carried drinks with ice. Never leaked. Good size."
Pros:
"We use it as an all day snack pack at my son's swim meets."

I liked that it seemed smaller and more compact than our big backpack so I thought maybe it would be more manageable for the big kids to carry. When the bag arrived I was pleasantly surprised! This was a sturdy bag.It was very comfortable to wear, even for my 10 yo. The insulated part on the bottom is heavy duty, not some thin foil plastic you see in some soft sided coolers. The bottom section held exactly 5 divided Ziploc lunch containers (I could squeeze 6 if I really stretched it or put one in sideways but you really don't want to do that). It also has extra room enough on the side for two regular plastic water bottles. I had to check out how big that top mesh part was. I was able to fit 5 lightweight fleece jackets in that top section! FIVE! Or you could easily fit a diaper wallet and a picnic blanket in the top section, or even towels and sunscreen. It has two pockets. The one on the front is big enough for a wallet, keys, cell phone, hand sanitizer, lip balm, point and shoot camera, etc. Then there is another little pocket on the top flap that goes over the mesh section. This is a thinner pocket but could easily hold some money, credit cards, zoo passes, or even a small pocket field guide. One thing it doesn't have is an easily accessible water bottle carrier. That would be nice to have built in, there are a few places where you could easily attach one with a carabiner type ring. Other than that, it looks like it would be a great day bag for ANY type of outing where you would want to take a lunch along. I was given a gift certificate to review this product, and I purchased another one on my own for another gift, I liked it so much."
