Darker than pictured
"Color is more of a Red Oak than Antique Oak. Picture makes item look much lighter than actual. The Console looks good fully assembled, however. Assembly was tedious (6 hours). Instructions consisted entirely of diagrams with no written instructions, not even assembly notes. Could not determine whether dowels should be glued or not for example (decided to glue).
