"For most of the reviewers complaining about video quality, a) most security DVRs split bandwidth between the available cameras, and b) this is for security, you're not shooting the next blockbuster movie. The unit gave me 60fps, and the bandwidth can be allocated across the four channels, so you can go up to 15fps on each of four channels, or put one at 30, and the other three at 10, or whatever you want. I've had this over a year ...
"I've had this over a year and I thought it was working fine, but we got broken into last night and I went to check the video and the software locks up just about every time you try to skip ahead or FF, I installed it on another PC and even tried the newer DVR software from later models and got the same problem. "This unit cannot record at 30FPS, it is split between 4 cameras making it 7.5FPS per camera. If only one or two cameras are hooked up, it still cannot do 30 or even 15FPS without the video flickering during playback. I believe this is due to the units slow processor.
