Great Telephoto Lens for Canon Rebel XT
"I bought the Quantaray 70-300mm lens for my Canon Rebel XT back in Dec06. I primarily shoot outside near the water. I read all of the pros and cons on both this lens and the Canon equivalent and chose this one because Ritz gave me a money back guarantee. "Decent entry level zoom lens. Reasonable range and price. Macro mode is a nice touch, although I didn't get to use it much. VERY slow to focus if you aren't close in range or in low contrast situations. Like many zoom lenses, difficult to use indoors without supporting light sources.
