"I have the forerunner to this product, the model 3910 which is a brushed aluminum finish. I originally got this phone for power outages. Its smart to have at least one phone that doesn't require electricity, which this one doesn't. I also like the organic ring (sound initiated by a hammer hitting a bell, what an innovation!).
