"This antenna was bought as replacement for 10 yr. old Radio Shack uhf antenna. We were having a great deal of trouble picking up hd channels in our area. I installed this myself in less than half hour, works beautifully and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to pull air hd channels. "

"I use this antenna in my attic. I think it performs well. [...] It would even work better on the roof! If you use in the attic add a cheap antenna amplifier ([$]or less) directly at the antenna to feed the coax going to your tv. that will improve your signal significantly. "

"This outside rooftop antennae was purchased because the house it got installed on is surrounded by trees, in a vally and has a high school high building close. All which would block the new digital signals. It works perfectly. "
