GREAT BUY FOR THE PRICE
"My central a/c was going out so I decided to purchase this as a secondary source for cooling to help prolong its life as long as possible. Well two days after I ordered the portbale a/c my central a/c went out! We lived without it for a couple of days which was horrible and the temperature outside was only 80 degrees! Design Flaw Causes Frequent Cycling
"This unit has a design flaw that makes it inherently short-lived, energy inefficient, and unsuitable for many uses (such as bedrooms). The thermostat is located immediately above the outflow duct for the conditioned (cooled) air. As a result, this unit cycles on and off very frequently.
