"I bought this as a kick around where the full size drill is not needed. Indeed, it works great for that. It's small and light, perfect for on the ladder stuff. "I traded in a drill and got 15% off this drill. one day of use the variable speed was no longer.. Squeeze the trigger and the drill goes to full speed after one day of use. No slow speed at all.
