Product Details	The Story of Saeco Saeco International Group was born in 1976 in the small Italian town of Gaggio Montano, where Sergio Zappella founded a company called GSL and began making espresso machines for use in the home. In 1981 Zappella brought on Swiss engineer Arthur Schmed and changed the company's name to Saeco. Ingenuity became the company's hallmark, and in 1985 Saeco unveiled the world's first fully automated espresso maker. The product was a smash success. Saeco took off in the 1980s and 1990s, winning the devotion of espresso drinkers the world over with its innovative, reliable espresso makers. In 1999 Saeco changed names again and became Saeco International Group. From espresso machines to air conditioners, vacuums, and other home products, today's Saeco continues to reflect its founders' insistence on technological excellence, quality, and durability. Enjoy freshly ground coffee beans with just the twist olf a dial. Features: Bean Hopper. Clear plastic bean hopper holds up to 8oz of whole coffee beans (removeable for easy cleaning) Grind Settings. Adjust the grind from fine to coarse with 12 different settings Ground Coffee Container. Antistatic ground coffee container holds up to 6.5oz of ground coffee, or grind directly into your portafilter. Timer. Set the grind timer up to 60 seconds to automatically grind coffee. Excellent burr grinder (whole bean coffee)

"I have a real Espresso machine ( Gaggia) and the uniform size of the coffee grinds really does make a big difference in flavor and strength of the coffee. Even with drip coffee this burr grinder makes superior coffee. I also have ground the beans as "French Press"; but mainly I use for Espresso or Drip coffee. It is worth the cost.
