"I just got these today and tried them. I put my hair into a messy updo and fab!! I have been hunting for the Goody Ouchless bobby pins and just didn't think it was worth it for me yet (not desperate enough) to buy from online. I found these at a local walgreens on a buy one get one half off sale.
Loves it!! I need comfort for my massive hair that is also naturally kinky. Any bobby pin will not do as they will break or hurt my head. This thing holds up and I don't feel anything."
Pros:
"These hair pins are great for neat and messy up dos. They blend right in and are hardly visible. The possibilities are endless. I would not recommend these for straight, thin hair."
Pros:
"I also just picked these up on day and just loved them,I went back for more but the store stopped carrying them. I have been looking everywhere for these. Even just one pin will hold up my very long thick hair, often wet. They slide in your hair easy, disappear, and really hold. Only draw back, is they stretch out after some use, so buy more than one pack, you will be glad you did. One of my very favorite things!"
Pros:
"This pins are amazing. Much better than metal bobby pin, or hair band that damages the hair over time. I have super thick long hair and these pins provide an amazingly secure hold."
Pros:
"I have very long thick hair, and these are the only pins I've used that hold my hair, and don't hurt my head. I also have fine, straight hair, and other pins have a tendency of slipping out, but not these. A must buy for gals with long hair."
Pros:
"Okay so I really don't even get how to use these, I mean I have been searching the internet all day to find instructions and I have tried in a obvious way to use them, pulling your hair into a bun and then sticking one down the middle, but my hair falls out and I don't get how else you use them... This is very frustrating seeing as there are no instructions on the back..."
Cons:
"Whether I want the do to be plain bun or fancy updo, these pins work very well on my thin, fine, straight, long hair. These pins hold without slipping out or tearing my hair. Too bad they are so hard to find locally."
Pros:
"My hair is too thick that to do french twist myself was never possible before I found this"

"I'm military and it is required to pull up hair in a professional and conservative manner. I happened to find this product by accident and so glad I did! They pin your hair up and it stays up with little or no show, unlike bobby-pins which can slip out or the unsightly snap clips. Beware that over time the clips will stretch out or get wider, which makes it more difficult to hold hair up. Also with a lot of use, they tend to produce hairline cracks which can actually pull your hair strands and break them. ouch! But overall, I give this 4 out of 5 because it doesn't last for forever, but it is an awesome product!"
