"most importantly for me the unit when open takes more width that dimension listed (because of door hinging mechanism.)I had a tight fit and this was not ideal. Also, most people that use it take a few trials to get used to putting the cooking time on the display before closing the door (gives it a very clean look when not operating but does take a little relearning...)..." Flashlight needed
"This is an excellent product, but has one major flaw as I see it, the key board where you enter/select info is not lit therefore many times I need to hold a flashlight on the key pad to see what I am doing. It is well made construction wise and looks great but the above flaw limits my favorable vote for this one...." Read Full Review »

"Excellent microwave except for the fact you have to open the door each time to use different options and for setting the timer. It heats foods fast. I am glad I purchased it, easy clean up too. I would recommend this product."

Powerful!
"This is a very powerful little unit! It easily accomodates a dinner plate which is great as we use it primarily for reheating. I was not swayed by the extra little features when I purchased, but I find them incredibly useful! The unit is small and squat giving it a very small footprint on your counter and it vents from the sides allowing items to be placed on top if it. The design of the door is a great feature as it covers the keypad allowing for a very clean appearance. We have only had this unit about a month, but it is a Sharp......we expect it to last for many years. I would reccomend this unit in a heartbeat!"

I had no idea how bad the old one was!
"You get use to hitting the button more than once.... so the turn table doesn't spin .....then you finally break down and get this new one....Yikes what a difference. The machine looks great, cooks great, and was a super deal. It's not as small as I thought it was when I ordered it. I'd say it's a medium size machine, which suits me fine. Cooks things in a fraction of the time that my very old machne did...and it's quiet. Very easy to figure out how to run. Order one you won't regret it."
