Review:We recently purchased the sharp aquos 65" LCD HDTV and love it... the only thing I wasn't to hip on was the big price. But there aren't many other 65" lcd out on the market so for the extra the tv was well worth it. Anyone in the market for a new hd tv you can't go wrong with the sharp aquos. My reason for purchasing the tv was our work has one that they keep on 24hr a day and the tv has never had a problem in over two years and the color and clarity is awesome. hd sporting events are amazing."

"USE THIS IN MY HOME THEATER. THE PICTURE IS NO BETTER THAN THE ONE I HAD,(61" DLP), MAYBE WORSE. I HAVE A TOP OF THE LINE PROCESSOR, BLUE RAY, DIRECTV, SEPERATE POWER AMP. ++ ALL THE BELLS & WISSELS. ONLY ONE CONNECTION (HDMI)TO TO THE T.V. RIGHT, "WRONG". MANY ITEMS DIDN'T WORK, NO PICTURE BUT SOUND, SOUND BUT NO PICTURE. AFTER MANY HOURS & CONECTIONS IN THE PROCESSOR I HAVE MOST (BUT NOT ALL) OF THE ITEMS WORKING.

THE PICTURE IS NO BETTER THEN THE ONE I HAD, BUT, 4" LARGER. IT TOOK MANY HOURS TO GET THERE. I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP. SHARP WAS LITTLE HELP.



THE T.V. WAS "B" STOCK, MEANING IT CAME DOWN THE LINE & WAS REJECTED FOR SOME REASON. THEY (SHARP) FIXED IT BUT THAT WAS NEVER REVELED. MAYBE NEW IS DIFFERENT TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE.



THE EXTENDED WARRENTY STARTED FROM SALE DATE NOT THE DATE AFTER THE ONE YEAR WARRENTY THE MANUFACTURE GIVES, LIKE THE SALESMEN SAID.



THE RESTAURANT GIFT CARDS WERE ONLY GOOD AT ONE PLACE NEAR ME. BUT, MANY PIZZA JOINTS 50 MILES AWAY. MAYBE THAT WAS THE 5000 RESTAURANTS IN GA. THE SALESMAN TALKED ABOUT.

"Put this TV in my game room connected to an AV home theater system replacing a 51" Hitachi. The picture is outstanding and is as good as any I have seen. Hard to beat this size unit for this price. Would definitely recommend. Just wish it had PIP."

"Awesome TV. Best picture I've seen on a set I've owned. No dead pixels, perfect picture. The sound is horrible (worst I've ever heard). Suitable for listening to the news, but not much else (no bass sound at all). But, if you connect your components through a receiver, then no worries there. The picture is absolutely beautiful. The settings directly out of the box were very close to where I needed to be after running the DVE Disc. My TV is in a very dimly lit room with no windows/glare. Plenty of connections, and TV is very easy to operate. Remote could be better, but I don't need to use the TV remote as I can control the TV with my Direct TV or Blue Ray remote. Watching the Olympics on this thing is stunning!"

"My wife and i are impressed with the picture quality. Certainly made the right choice..the size of screen fits so well for our family room making watching tv a pleasure all over again! The weakness is the audible,not enough loudness for sure..but we want to enjoy this set with a home theatre system anyway. "I am very satisfied with the Sharp Aquos 65". Abes of Maine offered the TV at a great price [...]. I also purchased the 1" close-to-the -wall mounting bracket which I do not recommend due to the lack of accessibilty to the connections and inability to plug into a standard receptacle when mounted to close to the wall. Fortunately, I only needed access to the side HDMI connection and installed a recessed electrical receptacle.
