"We were really excited about these bottles, but after using them for about a week, our excitement waned. It's been a year now and we rarely use them.
The main issue we had was cleaning them. We bought the specially made brushes (adds to the price), but it's still difficult to really clean them due to the narrow opening. We were only using them for water, but we will like to keep them clean. Also, while it's nice that the aluminum is lightweight, it also dents really easily. Both of ours are all banged up. We got ours in silver, but it's a dull finish.
On a positive note, we like the clean, minimalist design and they're very lightweight. However, our next bottle will probably be a Kleen Kanteen or maybe opaque plastic (supposed to be safer than clear plastic)."

Cons:
"This is the best bottle I've ever owned. Being a Nalgene bottle user for years I have been continually impressed.
Pros:
1. No strap to break when using a carabiner to attach it to rafts, packs, trees etc. The lid is super rugged.
2. No plastic taste! This is very nice when boiling snow to stay warm, wrap it in your sock and stuff it in the sleeping bag and there's no nasty taste when you go to drink the water later on.
3. Rugged and very light, granted it's metal it's going to dent. Nothing looks new forever, but it will function the same for years to come.
4. No seeping of petroleum and plastics into your drinking water.
5. Easy to keep clean with hot water and mild soap.
6. Highly resistant to typical Nalgene type mildew odor.
Cons:
1. Does not fit with many standard water filter adapters. ie. Katadyn Hiker Pro... Somewhat of a nuisanse and there seems to be no adapter. Sigg, hint, hint?"
Pros:
"I love this bottle! It is the perfect size, really functional, and water tastes great out of it. So far it's pretty durable. The "Night Whisper" pattern is beautiful and I've gotten many compliments. The only thing I don't like (about this and all aluminum bottles) is that cold water gets warm extremely fast."
Pros:
Cons:
"I've been buying these bottles for several years, and I just love them! They are light weight, there is no plastic taste, they look great and THEY DON'T SPILL! Trying to find something durable and no spill to go into the family's lunch boxes has been a challenge, but these have worked out great. The biggest problem is that they are attractive and my sons have had them stolen."
Pros:
Cons:
"Love using these on the golf courses, b/c the top can just hook onto my bag, and the container itself weighs hardly anything. Helps to keep plastics from littering our golf courses. Looks cool too! My golf buddies will be buying them also. Keep on Hackin'!"
Pros:
Cons:
"I love this bottle, water taste good, keeps it cool. Cute design, light weight. I love it. Not that hard to clean, put it in the dish washer, and if you rock climb expect it to get banged up and dented. To sum it up I will and have recommended this bottle to friends."
Pros:
"I for one never bought into the whole Nalgene craze at college. I find it a bit vulgar to run around with a Nalgene bottle hanging from your backpack to show off your brand awareness and hipster factor.
Plus I just have a naturally low need for liquids. Sometimes I think I must have some camel genes. I know you're supposed to drink lots of water because it's healthy for you but any large amounts of water I drink are peed out within half an hour. Is this what's so healthy? Peeing out bad stuff? Or am I supposed to retain the water? Because it ain't happening.
So I never understand carrying around such a large water bottle.
So why do I like Sigg?
Well, I initially got one because I owed hubby an aluminum water bottle after the threads on the top of the last one wore out. But the reason I like it so much is that it's light and small enough to fit inside a purse. So I can carry it around with me anytime I go out and not have to buy bottled water like all those other suckers out there. It's also durable enough to be taken camping, skiing, etc. Yes, the bottle can dent easily, but I've never been the type of person to throw things around carelessly and you'd have to really smash it hard against some rocks to puncture it. And it doesn't hurt that it looks good.
I don't find cleaning it to be a problem. Every once in a while I clean it out with some hot water and detergent. Then let it dry completely. Sometimes I toss it in the freezer (empty) to kill any germs. I've never found the need to have special brushes of any kind for any of my 4 aluminum bottles."

Cons:
"I bought two of these Sigg bottles to replace the Nalgenes that I'd been using for years. I now carry this bottle with me everywhere: in the car, at the office, out with friends, on my bike (it fits!). I even carry the bottle around at home -- it beats having to worry about the cat tipping a glass! A few of these comments might appear as 'cons' but they're just things to take note of -- things that took *me* some time to get used to: Compared to Nalgene, these bottles are tedious to open & close (*twist* 6 times!). As a result, I will leave the bottle open on my desk -- but later I wonder where I left the cap. Whoops! Water in these bottles comes to ambient temperature quickly (but I've never enjoyed ICE cold water anyway;). I tend to overfill the bottle since I can't see the water level. And it was a little odd to drinking from at first. The metal and the treads inside the mouth (for the cap) felt like I was drinking from a garden hose. Ha!The pros? There is no funky taste when drinking water from these, and the bottles stay very clean (no funky, musky smells). My Siggs haven't seen much extreme action but they are dent-free after a months' time :) Final take: a light-weight, artistically beautiful, leak proof and safe way to carry water with you. [...]"

Cons:
"I take the SIGG water bottle with me to work. I add ice cubes to the water. Even when the ice cubes melt, the water stays cool much longer in the aluminum bottle.
The bottle is easy to carry by the screw on top; just hook it through one of my fingers. It's also very light weight, even when it's full of water/ice.
I love the color and it's durability. I hope to have my SIGG water bottle a long time.
I rarely, if ever, buy or drink from bottled water. Mostly for environmental reasons, but also because I do have good tasting well water. Once my SIGG bottle arrived from you, I collected all the various plastic/rubber water bottles I had bought over the years and will give them away.
I had researched the SIGG bottles online and found they are very hard to find, if at all. So after finding a very few websites that sold the SIGG bottles, I found your store had the color and top that I wanted.... and at the best price.
Thanks for offering such a wonderful product. And when/if I'm ready to purchase another SIGG bottle (or accessories), I will certainly consider purchasing from you again."
