"I am also beauty concious. I know that mineral oil is a known comodogenic meaning it clogs pores causing pimples and preventing hair growth. it is also very drying to say the least and just builds up. the bonds of this oil are to big to penetrate the hair. since it is in the first ingredients, i know my hair did not get the benefits of whatever other ingredients are in this product. mineral oil wraps the hair like plastic. it prevents moisture and everything else from being absorbed into the hair. I never thought to look at the ingredients of this product touted to be apart of the only system i needed to restore moisture etc. to my hair, but when my hair was becoming drier and breaking, i looked for the culprit and here it was is this "unhydrating," moisture-lacking, mineral oil demon containing product. mineral oil cost manufacturers 5 cents a gallon, thats the only reason why it is put in products. it serves no purpose to benefit our hair."

"I tried this product because I got a free sample in the mail. When I first put it on my hair I was so surprised, it made my hair feel very soft and mositurized. I have tried several hair cremes, but none like this one. It is very light weight and works wonders for my relaxed hair.
I will continue to use it and watch my hair growth. Thanks!"

"I bought this product because it was a clearance item and was just trying it. Wow, was I surprised and satisfied. This is a very good product for ethinic permed, colored treated, and possibly natural hair. Straightens and moisturizes dry brittle hair even when applied wet and doesn't leave it hard. Now I can't find it at Walgreens anymore, [...] out of stock on line. What do I do? Somebody, please, let me know who else is selling this product?"

"This stuff gives great moisture for thick, natural hair. The good thing is that it doesn't leave my hair all greasy and caked up with stuff. I have to use moisturizer daily and it works really good on my two strand twists. Can't really say enough about this one. Try it. U'll like it!!!"

"Lol...wow you throw Baby Jesus into the mix...funny.lol...No but really, I'm sorry the product did not work for your hair. However, we have people who have regrown their hair back after chemo who swear by this product, because it softens and hydrates their hair like no other.
Also, there are many things that can cause your hair to become dry and brittle, primarily over use of heat, using hard-water, over-processing with chemical or even medications. Based on over a decade working in the hair care industry both in product development and marketing, mineral oil would not be the primary cause of dryness. For you to narrow it down to this one product without a full analysis of your full haircare habits is also an unfair assessment based on limited information.
I do understand your concerns with mineral oil and hate that your hair doesn't like it, but many people have great results with mineral oil. The chemistry behind products can make a difference. If one were to look at an ingredients in isolation, one may get different results, but combined with other technologies you get different results. It's good to provide a balanced perspective. "If you didn't read the whole review, let me summarize it for you: I tried it, it Sucks for MY hair. And like i said, it doesn't matter if you have grapeseed oil or baby Jesus, if there is mineral as the 1st ingredient or before any worthy ingredients, the hair will never reap the benefits."
"All mineral oils are not created equal, nor are all products created equal. You have never used this product and have made a blanketed statement about it based on an ingredient. We use mineral oil -10 which has a much lower viscosity than mineral oil-50 which most products use, it absorbs very well. We have people with extremely dry, coarse natural hair who loves this product because of our patented blend with grapeseed oil and other conditioning agents that leaves the hair soft, silky and shiny. It is very lightweight and has a brilliant fragrance. I would ask that before you speak negatively about a product you should try it first hand, then make an assessment.
