"These headphones are great noise-cancellers...you can be in a crowded room and not hear a thing, with the volume not even up half-way. I'd say the only real con to these is using them during physical activity: you tend to hear this odd loud sound when the wire bounces against you, i'm assuming this is the noise cancelling technology as you typically don't have this problem with regular stereo headphones. "BEWARE After buying my 5th pair of skull candy earphones in the past 2 years, I am sooo disappointed in them. As another reviewer mentioned, then tend to break easily in a bag; more like one ear stops working or there's a peeping noise coming out of one ear.
