The Slap Chop is a manual chopper machine that works when you slap the plunger part. Every slap triggers the 3 blades below to chop and cut the food. The more you slap the Slap Chop, the finer the food gets. Chop up potatoes for home fries, or add mushrooms and green peppers for a tasty side to your eggs. Directions	To avoid countertop scratches, place food on a level cutting board. Ensure the food fits inside the circumference of the Slap Chop. For smaller chopping needs such as nuts or chocolate, simply place the food in the base cap. Hold the Slap Chop with one hand, them using the palm of your other hand, hit the plunger several times for your desired food size. Be sure to let the plunger return to its starting point between hits. One or two hits will create large pieces, more chopping will produce finer results. If you're using the base cap to create your favorite toppings, you can pour them directly from the base cap. No extra dishes to wash!

"We use this product all the time. We have a salad shooter and love it but since we bought the slap chop the salad shooter never gets used. "In reality this product is more trouble than it's worth. The onions and carrots, etc., get caught up in the blades and won't come out until you dig them out. It is definitely not as nice and easy as the commercial shows. I'd rather use a knife and get the job done right. Save yourself the money and forget this product.
