"No dead pixels. The picture is crystal clear. It has a fabulous ATSC digital tuner (as well as a conventional NTSC analog tuner). I really don’t think the Sony KDL-32XBR6 runs hot like other posters have said. I guess “hot” and “cold” are relative (as well as subjective) terms. We mostly use the TV to watch OTA (over-the-air) high definition free television broadcasts. "This Tv dosen't have a zoom without distortion! Many stations now have programs with black space on all four sides. Basically I'm watching a 24" screen on my 32" Tv. Other TVs I've seen you can fill up the screen to its full size...but NOT SONY...." Read Full Review
Pros:
"I know! Why don't they make TVs the right size for the picture? It's always the wrong ratio. It's extremely frustrating."
Thus, we appreciate the included TV Guide. I think the sound is fabulous…absolutely no complaints. As you flip through the various menus, the “eye candy” is simply icing on the cake. The TV has controls on top. We have kids that aren’t able to reach the buttons, so we bought them a Sony RM-EZ4 “big button” remote control so that they can change the channels and the volume.Originally we had our eye on the Sony KDL-32XBR4 television. We were waiting for the price to drop to something more reasonable. My wife informed me one day that the “XBR4” was no longer available and that it had been replaced by the “XBR6”. She said it looks like the major difference is that it now has 1080p instead of 720p. Well that was enough to peak my interest again. We went to Best Buy to see it, and we were wowed! I asked the salesman if [...] would match an online price. Well, they came down $100 off their listed price. I called them back and they were out of stock, so I ended up purchasing the TV from B&H Photo Video."
Pros:
"I was told by some that 1080p really doesn't make a difference when it's only a 32inch screen. I have seen 720p 32" TV's, and those that said this are way off. The sharpness and vividness of this picture just leave you smiling, and scanning the channels looking for something on TV that really tests the colors like something on Discovery Channel, and it doesn't disappoint. To some, a TV is a TV, and there's no difference between some lower end ones and a Sony or Samsung. If you're really uncertain whether to spend a few extra dollars, this is completely worth it. This TV has a good dynamic contrast ratio and the difference compared to lower end TV's that only have maybe 10,000:1 is so evident. The colors just jump out at you and the contrast in colors just has you noticing the smaller details, often making me miss the action when I am watching baseball games. The user interface is super easy to navigate and very attractive. Set up is quick and the remote is good. I could see how it would be annoying if that was the remote you use to go through channels since the Volume and Channel up/down buttons are at the bottom of the remote, so it's a little weird, but easy to get used to if you use it regularly. About B&H...EXCELLENT. [...] I was so excited for this TV and could not believe it when it was there so soon. B&H has always been a great buying experience whenever I have bought from them.Bottom Line: I could not be happier with this television, and I could NOT be happier with B&H. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody I know. A TV is NOT just a TV. HD is not just HD. But, a SONY is a SONY, and while you might pay more for the name, every little pixel makes it seem worth it."

Cons:
"I have always wanted a Sony XBR TV and finally purchased this 32" model (I would have been happy with a 26" but Sony doesn't make it anymore). Anyway the picture is just phenomenal, the colors are vibrant and the set is is very easy to set up. I'm using an over the air Terk indoor amplified antenna and getting high definition thru the air waves.
The overall look of the TV in high gloss piano black is very attractive and will fit in with any room. There is a "POWER" LED that lights up in the middle of a plexiglas panel yet there are no wires showing (there are also LED's for "PIC OFF/ TIMER" and "STANDBY" as well. It's kind of interesting how Sony accomplished this. The sound from the speakers is also very good.
All in all, a fine product. It's not inexpensive, but if you enjoy watching sports, movies, even talk shows it's almost better than being there since you can see so much detail."
Pros:
"This Sony 32xbr6 is the best Sony I've ordered thus far. Unlike previous models such as the xbr2, this 32" model features screen images 1920 x 1080 for the clearest picture and best visual screen for cable tv and hdtv.
Like other XBR models, the initial setup process takes about 30 minutues to complete and will check for both analog and digital channels. It will also add channels that become available later (such as 101.7 NBA.tv). No need to be a tech savvy person to do this; it's that easy!!
Another very cool feature, is that this Sony offers a GUIDE button. With those that don't have a cable box, this button offers a connection with your cable provider and gives you an up-to-date listing of TV Guide. No need to go to the TV Guide channel to watch it scroll having missed the channel you were hoping to find. This GUIDE feature allows you to find your preferred channel and the listing of all shows within a 24 hour time frame.
Don't pass up on the newest and best XBR technology thus far!!"
Pros:
"This is by far the best television I've ever owned. The setup is fast and the high definition picture is amazing requiring no adjustment from the factory settings. Unlike other flat screen sets the sound is extraordinarily good. Unlike another reviewer I've had no trouble with blurring with fast moving images . He may wish to make an adjustment to the input as described in the manual. Sony is still incredible!"
Pros:
"The 32" is a convenient size for medium-sized rooms - I have it on wall-mounted shelving where it appears to take no space and looks great. It was easy to connect up. The HD picture is truly wonderful. The higher contrast ratio is evident and the higher resolution is worth getting. Definitely one of the better TVs in this size range I've ever seen. I love the sound quality with surround options. Have yet to try all its options and have not had time to discover the 'not-so-great' as just set it up 5 days ago. Will use for fav shows few times a week and for movies. Have already recommended to friends. I did my homework prior to buying and it payed off!"
Pros:
"Bought The Sony Bravia KDL-32XBR6 about 3 weeks ago.
This TV is lightweight and easy to set up.
Great picture, it's bright, clear, and vibrant with nice interface with TV-Guide and the sound is fabulous...absolutely no complaints.
480 cable looks fine.
720 cable looks good
1080 looks amazing.
Blu-Ray on this thing looks like million $$$$$"
Pros:
"A PRESENT FOR MY WIFE SHE WANTED THE SAMSUNG 32 A550, BUT WAS SOLD ON THE SONY 32 XBR6. FOR ONE THE SONY HAS 4 HDMI INPUTS AND THE SAMSUNG HAS 3. ALSO, THE CONTRAST RATIO IS HIGHER ON SONY SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE TV FOR YOUR BEDROOM DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY GET THE SONY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. NEXT YEAR I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE 52 INCH XBR6 TO REPLACE MY 36 INCH XBR TUBE FOR MY LIVING ROOM. OH YEAH THANKS MIKE AT EXT 1011 JR U GUYS R GREAT!!!"
Pros:
"In short, both the picture and sound on this 32" LCD TV are fantastic. The TV is very light and easy to set up and very easy to use. The only feature I didn't like at first glance was the black frame - I thought a gray frame would be less obvious in the room. But as soon as I turned it on I could see that the black frame disappears completely...especially when viewing a movie in a dark room. It' a real treat. Be sure to get high-quality cables to hook up your cable box, DVD (or better yet, Blu-Ray player) and sound system and you'll be thrilled."
