J&R had best price - why risk it?
"For a few dollars more than the Sony 42 lens, you can get the best Sony offers. I've heard the 36 has problems. This is confusing mostly because I'm new to flash photography with AF. On full auto it works perfectly, but I prefer to shoot on AV, which can be tricky...." Read Full Review »

"I almost never use this on-camera. Off-camera remote is just too simple to not use.
I have to believe that user BB from VA isn't following instructions, as it works just fine with the Alpha-100.
I do wish that Sony had gone back to the standard shoe profile rather than Minolta's old proprieta
